Our Story
Delta Defenders was formed in January 2019 to ]unite Delta residents in defense of impacts from the Delta twin tunnels. This horrendous project would have sacrificed our homes, our businesses, our community, and our way of life for unsustainable exports of water from the Delta.
We successfully lobbied Governor Newsom to direct the Department of Water Resources to limit impacts of the Delta tunnel project on our homes, our land, and our businesses.
But the fight continues.
